Laugh Factory is Asking Congress for Bail Out Money

For 30 years, the Laugh Factory has held Christmas dinner for the underprivileged, but 2008 had the highest turn out ever. This really opened the eyes of owner Jamie Masada to the severity of the nation's economic crisis.
"I've never seen so many people and families with their kids waiting in the rain for a free meal and comedy show." Deeply moved by this, The Laugh Factory would like to propose Congress to fund what he calls an "Economic Cheer-Up."

The Laugh Factory would like to join the ranks of those banks and corporations who are lining up for a bail-out. However, in this case, money received would fund a nationwide comedic tour to lift the spirits of a burdened people. Sound like a joke? Well, Masada and the big name comedians who are prepared to pack their bags to help his cause are serious.
Even if you aren't a comedian, you can help the cause. Masada and the Laugh Factory are urging citizens to write to laughfactory.com--include your address and they'll forward the message to your congressperson and President Obama demanding support for the Cheer-Up. If Congress fails to act quickly, the Laugh Factory comedians are planning to march to Washington and plea to President Obama in person.
