Melissa Rivers Hosts Fashion Show for Fall
Melissa Rivers hosted the annual Fashion for Life show unveiling the fall collections of top designers, including David Meister, Trina Turk, Ina Soltani, Single, Fremont and Paige Premium Denim.
Valerie Bertinelli came on stage to present L.A. designer David Meister with the Vision Award for his contributions to SoCal style and excellence in red carpet fashion. She fell in love with him after he designed her a dress (post-Jenny Craig body) for a red carpet event. Since then, she's gone back to him again and again.
David's fall collection was the first to be shown off at the show, but our favorite dresses were by Ina Soltani--they were in such vibrant colors and the fabric flowed in the wind like waves of water.

Other celebrities that attended include Charlie Sheen, Viola Davis, Melora Hardin, Aubrey Anderson, Anya Sarre, Jaime Bamber, Sweet Pea, Alison Brie, Anastasia Griffiths, Leslie Bibb, Paige Adams-Geller and others.
The event took place in the grand auditorium and Fashion Theater at California Market Center in Downtown LA and raised over $100,000 for Friendly House, a leading residential recovery program for women who want to recover from drug and alcohol addiction.
