Pamela Anderson’s New PETA Ad Banned

Posted on 09 September 2009 by Tammy Cakes

pamela-anderson-peta-commercial-banned-2U.S. Airport officials have banned Pamela Anderson’s PETA commercial, which features the Baywatch star appearing as a scantily-clad airport security guard who strips passengers of fur and leather.

The “Cruelty Doesn’t Fly”  ad was due to be shown at three New York City airports this week, before debuting nationwide, but authorities pulled the plug on the promo over fears the that the sexy message will offend passengers with children.

PageSix reports that a rep for CNN Airport Network wrote to PETA bosses to explain the commercial is “particularly sensitive because children make up part of the demographic in airports.”

The quirky commercial also features comedians Steve-O, Andy Dick, and Carol Leifer, a pair of nude models, and German punk icon Nina Hagen.

Check out the video yourself and you tell us–is it too racy?
