After trudging through years of acrylics, silks and many brands of paint-on nail strengtheners, I heard about Bellacures’ amazing Gelicure manicure and now must tell you how hooked I am! My nails were done 5 days ago and I have zero chipping, no lifting and just great looking strong nails. No one can believe that they aren’t all mine.

Such a thin layer of gel is first applied to the nail that it looks more like a reinforced version of your own nail than the chunky, heavy looking acrylic alternative. Considered organic in Europe, once the gel is removed, zero damage has been done to the original nail and, in fact, many people find their nails to be stronger.

Soozie's Gelicure Manicure

bellacures-comfy-chairSamira Asemanfar, Bellacures’ owner and founder, is delightful and accommodating. She treats each guest like they are a celebrity (some of them are!) and makes sure each person receives only the best service. While there are no giant massage chairs like you may be used to, the large, cushy, cozy chairs she has selected create and even more divine and exclusive feel to the experience.

The gel base will last anywhere between 10-20 days and needs to be applied each time as they can’t be filled in. They can either grow out or be removed easily with acetone nail polish. I will definitely go back to Bellacures as they have a wide range of manis and pedis at different price points as well. I loved that they had a “Kid-a-cure” for $9. What a reasonable price for the little one in your life to get pampered too!

Check them out online at Bellacures.com or visit their salon at 239 North Robertson Blvd. Beverly Hills, CA 90211 310.550.5822

I did not see or hear about any male types in the boutique, but I am sure they would be welcome. Q’s presentation is soothing, and I almost fell asleep watching. Tho I had a manicure 3 weeks ago, today my nails look like “wolf nails”. Wish I was close to Beverly Hills!
