Rihanna Breaks Her Silence About Chris Brown on Good Morning America (VIDEO)

Rihanna gave her first interview since she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown, to Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America this morning.

While we only got to see a 5 minute preview today, we're promised that tomorrow night the full interview on 20/20 will answer everyone's questions about what really happened that night.

It's really nice to hear Rihanna speak so openly about her abuse, because up until now we've only heard Chris's side of the story which is basically that he "doesn't know what happened."

But apparently he DOES know what happened, because this incident was only one of many. Rihanna definitely insinuates that this was a very dangerous relationship, which is shocking because up until this incident they seemed so happy together.

Check out the 5 minute preview of Rihanna's tell-all below:

I think it helped her that this happened in the public eye because if no one knew but her she would still be with him. Everyone knowing made it easier to leave. Most battered women suffer in private.

"HELP YOUNG WOMEN...HAIL BRAVE RIHANNA...ROLE MODEL...HELPING SAVE LIVES"
If Rihanna really wants to “help young people” instead of playing the victim ad nauseum, instead of playing to her poor-pity-me-been-done-wrong by Chris and his “cold dead eyes”, milking this horrible episode for all its worth for her New CD, she should:
    1.) stop pointing fingers
2.) stop dissing Chris for what she has already time & again said he did
3.) tell what she did on her own for her self-esteem, what she learned of her part in this, how she took responsibility for her actions…

Rihanna tell your fans that while Chris battled for survival of his career, sentenced to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling. That while he went on national T.V. and apologized (not once or twice but, various times) to you and his fans, Rihanna tell your fans how you used this to make yourself a stronger person inside. That you didn’t use this tragedy for your PR advantage and the mighty green bucks, & while you are at it please, elaborate about the “stuff” you brought to the relationship.
Life is about learning and mistakes are part of the process but, it is the SOLUTIONS we apply that matter.
There is no bad person here just bad choices, decisions & judgment calls.
Don’t you think this would impact fans more than pointing fingers?
