It wasn’t too long ago that Susan Boyle was an unknown small town girl and now here she is taking the world by storm one more time.
Critics claimed her success wouldn’t last after she became an overnight sensation on Britian’s Got Talent, but they were wrong. Susan Boyle’s CD, I Dreamed a Dream, which is being released on Monday, has the biggest CD pre-order sales in the history of Amazon.com.
It’s not surprising that the CD is such a hit seeing that the YouTube video of her I Dreamed a Dream performance on Britain’s Got Talent had 100 million views.
Julian Nonaghan, the head of music buying at Amazon stated,
Just eight months ago, no one was aware of the talents of Susan Boyle. Now, she is generated more Amazon pre-order CD sales globally than any other artist. That is an incredible achievement and is testament to the fact that she has captured the hearts of people all over Britain, America and the rest of the world.
I don’t know about you, but Susan’s performance of I Dreamed a Dream brought me to tears. I can’t wait for my copy of her CD. What do you think?

wow, made me tear up… I never paid attn to any of this susan boyle stuff, but like a year later and she’s still in the news? well, I thought, I maybe should read this…and then maybe should watch the vid… the vid was amazing…even Simon Cowell looked overwhelmed at times… amazing, really really crazy amazing.
